Key to my heart

A very simple A2 card, black base, white 3.75x5 inch embossed backround piece. The lock and key were cut with the Sweethearts cartridge at 3 inches (I think). Shadow cut from a matte black paper, the base of the lock out of glossy black, then the layer of the lock, and the key base out of a metallic magenta.

Love is in the air

I love the Sweethearts cartridge for Cricut. This cut, labeled honeymoon, is probably one of my favorites. I cut it on blackout from black, then cut the dress and shoes in red and the word "Love" in pink. Hearts cut from red and pink, some stickles, and glossy effects. It's all mounted on a Black A2 card with a white 3.75"x5" rectangle centered on it.

Boob/Butt card

The perfect FUN card for a man for his birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Anniversary or just because. It can be made to look sweet with lighter colored lingere, or dirtier with a dominatrix inspired look (maybe even stamp a tattoo somewhere).

This is my first attempt (and a template) at making this paticular card. It still needs some detail work, but the basics are there.

The cute file is available HERE
NOTE: The cut file uses Plantain Schoolbook and Sweetheart. The first page is the card base, the second page is the lingere...I used the heart, and glued it where I wanted the bra cups to be, then trimmed the excess off. I also cut down the panties by hand a little bit, just because I wanted a little less coverage ;)

Heart Silhouette Card

Basic A2 white card base, with an embossed white background piece. The picture inside the heart is from a Child Year glued onto a plain white heart and I cut off the excess. The frame around the heart is made from a million (ok, not really, but it seems that way when gluing) red and pink punches from the Martha Stewart branch punch.

Bee Mine

With Valentines Day coming up it is time to start think about Valentine's cards and treats. I've started making some Valentines cards, and have tried making some spinner cards. Here is my "Be Mine" spinner card.

To make this card, I made a cut file on DesignStudio so I could fiddle with sizes.
The base is cut from white cardstock to make a 5.5" x 4.2.5" card with a circle cutout. The frame was cut out of black cardstock with a slightly larger hole cutout, then run through my Cuttlebug with the HeartBlocks embossing folder. For the bee, I cut the base (with the wings) out of vellum, the body (two of them) out of black, and the stripes layer (two times) out of yellow. I used double sided tape to attach clear monofilament to the winged layer, then layered the other pieces on (front and back) using a Zig glue pen. More double sided tape to attach the monofilament to the card base (centering the bee in the center of the cutout) and then attached the frame.
The cut file can be downloaded here
