Alright, I tried something new. I watched the awesome Emma (My Creative Time, PK Design Team, crafter extraordinaire) coloring with Copics and thought "that looks easy, I should get mine out". Well it wasn't easy, I had to restart a few times, and it's not perfect...but....I LOVE COPICS. I need more, but hubby said I have to wait...something about a budget (whatever that is, lol).
Kept the card simple because the coloring drove me crazy.
I Used:
Cardstock: Maroon, forest green, black, white
Cuttlebug with Spellbinders Nestabilities Lg Scalloped Ovals
Ribbon
Heat set gems and tool
Copics
Memento Ink
PKS Faceless Christmas Heads
PKS Winter Wonderland Face Assortment
Glossy Effects

LFIF-Creepy Cute
So I had A LOT of fun with my entry. I have been a little obsessed with Shrinky dinks recently, So I decided to make some Halloween earrings for my entry. As I was finishing the first earring my daughter says..."those might have to be mine". So here she is modeling her new earrings.
To start this project I cut some circular shapes with a bump (two circles welded together on my gypsy) out of Crystal Clear Shrinky Dink material. Hint: When cutting this material it helps to cut twice. Then I stamped one side with my Uglies stamp set using StazOn.
Then into the toaster oven to shrink. Then I started the assembally of the earrings, pulled out my pliers, jumprings and other jewlery making stuff and got to work with my little(r) monsters.

Next I flipped over (if you color the same side you stamp it will smudge) and colored my little monsters with Bic Mark It permanent markers. Then punched holes in the little bump area.Friday, October 28, 2011

PKS 59
Guess what I spent my day doing? Crafting and making a HUGE mess. On a recent trip to Hobby Lobby I found a bunch of Spellbinders Nestabilities in the clearance section for $7 each (we won't tell my husband how many I bought). With school FINALLY back in session I have the house to myself, so I decided pefect time to check the challenge blog and see what was going on.
My card is a 5-inch square I used:
purple buttons
white, blue, green, and pink cardstock
Spell binders Nestabilites (Classic Scalloped Squares Large and Big Scalloped Ovals)
Martha Stewart Edge punch
PKS Misty Sue and Colby Cheer Up Set and Sampler Package of Faces
Post-its (for masking)
Staz-on (tuxedo black)
Copics
Heat set gems and tool

Challenge Card
I'm using this card for 2 challenges.... Cricut 360 #4 and PKS LFIF. For Cricut 360 the challenge was to base the layout or card on the outdoors, and for PKS LFIF was to use a pun or a play on words. Since I live in TX I decided to use a cactus and make a Halloween themed card using the phrase "Prick or Treat".

- Paperdoll Dress Up
CuttleBug

PKS Challenge 44
Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 44 w/a Twist
I just got my new PK Stamps, and I couldn't wait to use them. I've had this idea bouncing around in my head for awhile and just needed the time to get it done, life does have a way of interfering with crafting time. It's an A2 card, I used shades of pink (and a little black and white), my Gypsy with Create A Critter and George cartridges, MS edge punch, tiny hearts CB folder, my new PKS Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed stamps, some bling, a white gel pen, and colored pencils. I designed the sentiment on my computer using WordArt and printed it on cardstock.
I hope you like it as much as I do!!
So STINKIN' Sweet
