PKS Challenge 44

Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 44 w/a Twist
I just got my new PK Stamps, and I couldn't wait to use them. I've had this idea bouncing around in my head for awhile and just needed the time to get it done, life does have a way of interfering with crafting time. It's an A2 card, I used shades of pink (and a little black and white), my Gypsy with Create A Critter and George cartridges, MS edge punch, tiny hearts CB folder, my new PKS Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed stamps, some bling, a white gel pen, and colored pencils. I designed the sentiment on my computer using WordArt and printed it on cardstock.

I hope you like it as much as I do!!
So STINKIN' Sweet

Peachy Keen Challenge 37

I'm LOVING fall colors this year. I really wanted to use something fun in my card, so I chose raffia, perfect for fall. What else is perfect for fall? A scarecrow, of course. I used PPDU and EDPP for all the cuts and inked the edges in brown for a dirty look. I layered raffia under the clothes for the hay (kinda a pain in the butt, but worth it). For the face I used my PKS Monster Mash Assortment (super cute). The pumpkins are the jack-o-lanterns from PPDU with the faces removed with my gypsy, inked the edges with brown and colored the vines and stems with green. Layered frames in fall colors, and more raffia tied, and I called it done.

Peachy Keen Challenge 36

Another Color/Sketch challenge from Peachy Keen. The requirements can be found here
I gotta say, I am SUPER happy with how this turned out. I've been wanting to do a Thanksgiving card, and the colors worked PERFECTLY!!!! The card is a 5x7 beige base. I used My Create a Critter cartridge for the turkey, using my Gypsy to hide the face cuts so I could use my PKS Create a Critter Faces (medium set). I used a Martha Stewart edge punch, my gem heat-setter to put the bling in the center of the silk flower, and used Distessed Stickles on the turkey's hat.

Birthday Card

So, one of my favorite people is having a birthday, so I just HAD to make her a card. I love these stamps, they're just so darn cute; I colored with Martha Stewart colored pencils. I used my Gypsy to resize the frames (from Storybook)and cut using my Cricut Expression, I embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder, and used my gem heat-setter for the bling.
